I am getting better at putting both boys to sleep at the same time. I am happy to announce that both Phin and Eli are napping. Fortunately, this means I get to shower.
Unfortunately, this means a short post. However, don’t despair! It will be worth your while. I’ll even throw in a few pictures of Eli’s cheeks.
- Nate: Just applied to a Master’s program (Educational Leadership) through the University of Texas… we’re not moving if he gets in because it’s all online. He’s teaching orchestra next year.
- Me: Getting our first garden ready. So fun. We’re growing strawberries, butternut squash, pumpkin, zucchini, yellow summer squash, 5 kinds of tomatoes, rhubarb (already going strong!), basil, lemon basil, lemon verbena, oregano, rosemary, dill, carrots, beets, cabbage (green and purple), spinach, and peas. There is something so therapeutic about gardening. Plus, we’ll really be local foodies. How can you get any more local than your backyard?
- Phin: Turning 2 on Saturday! I’ll have his official annual update next week. His current favorite activity is to spray himself with the hose. He has also been devouring mushrooms at an alarming rate. I love having a toddler who is a veggie-lover.
- Eli: He can sit up very well alone and roll over. He is OH SO CUTE. He loves rice cereal, bananas, carrots, grapefruit, black beans, and sweet potatoes. Phin has also “shared” a quesadilla, cheerios, and a popsicle. His favorite activity is to squeal and giggle when his Papa tickles him.
Happy Spring! Lots of Love from Fort Morgan.

Dang cute kid!!!!Viva gardening! Soon Eli will be 1 year old! Love you all so much & Miss you too!
