Dear readers of our beloved family blog,

Do you miss reading Alli’s engaging and hillarous writing style?  Do you wish we posted more frequently?  You’re in luck!  Alli, our resident Master of Public Health, has started a delicious family nutrition blog called Don’t Panic, Mom!  It’s an overnight web sensation!

Of course, Alli isn’t the type to toot her own horn.  That’s why I get to do a little promotion here with our family and friends.  If you feel so inclined, please read and comment on her articles, give her a Facebook Like, and send her a glowing tweet.

Most importantly, please share the blog with all the moms you can.  After all, who doesn’t want healthier kids?

Thanks!
Nate

Sorry for such. a. long. pause. I am happy to report that we are happy. Nate was recognized for some wonderful compositions in February. I signed a short-term design contract for a health organization. We registered Phin for preschool. Eli is wearing super-cool underwear like his big brother. Adele is mastering the fine art of scooting and eating solid food. And we bought chickens.

Here are some pics to show you that we truly are alive.

Bad News, Good News, and Bad News again.

May
No Comments   Posted by NathanHoweMusic |  Category:Uncategorized

Bad news:
My web hosting company found a problem in one of my sites.  Basically, somebody (probably a robot) hacked into my account and inserted little bits of malicious code everywhere.  Not good.  In order to get rid of the problem, I essentially had to remove everything I had posted using my hosting account, including our blog.

Good news:
This stuff was backed up, right?

Bad news:
To an extent.  I have all the posts on this blog archived back to early 2009.  All the pictures are archived from the beginning of the blog.  Some of our witty commentary is lost to the ether.

Good news:
I’m taking this time to thoughtfully redesign sites like gratemusic.com, which should be back up in a few weeks.

Bad news:
Some of my sites will go dark for good.

Good news:
Those weren’t the important ones.

Bad news:
Retrieving the archived materials will take some time, so the older posts will not be available right away.  I’ll restore them from most recent to the oldest I have.  Our wordpress theme is also the hideous default for the moment, but we’ll change that soon, too.

Love,
Nate
